Drawing Box. This app looks like charcoal drawings as one of the chooses.
wSketch. This app looks like a white board. I have used it with Jr. High students to play pictionary. I attached the iPad to the projector so that everyone could see. One student would draw the word and the rest of the group would guess.
SketchbookX This app is similar to wSketch but also has shapes and mirror image.
Doodle Buddy. This app adds text and stickers to the drawings.
lineBrushThis is the first app that I have found that has a pencil and pen that works and looks like a real pencil and pen. The students can draw with this or take notes instead of typing.
Hello Oil Painter This app has a "palette" that can be used to mix colors.

Let's Create Pottery Lite. Fun. Fun. Fun. Very realistic
This app begins with a lump of clay on the potter's wheel. You use your finger to make the clay grow up and out until you are happy with the shape. The pot is then put into a kiln and bisqued fired. Designs and color are added. When the pot is completed, you can put the pot in the gallery or sold. When sold, the money can be used to purchase more colors or designs or saved for later.
These are some of my favorite drawing apps.
